USPA ACCELERATED FREE FALL INSTRUCTOR COURSE

The AFFI course is designed to equip instructors with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to safely and effectively teach students the fundamentals of skydiving, from exit to deployment. During the AFFI course, instructors learn advanced techniques for controlling and coaching students through every phase of the jump.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Must be 18 years old

  • Current USPA member

  • USPA C License

  • Hold a USPA Coach Rating for 12 months OR minimum 500 jumps

  • Minimum of 6 hours documented freefall time

  • Participation in at least 2 First Jump Courses (FJC)

ABOUT THE COURSE

The course fee is $750, and it must be paid in its entirety before the commencement of the course.

Other expenses include jump tickets and pack jobs, which vary depending on the market prices of the drop zone. Additionally, there is the USPA rating fee of $72, which is payable upon the successful completion of the course.

The duration of this course varies between 4 to 5 days, contingent upon weather conditions and the number of candidates enrolled.
